Soil Quality Assessment and Management in Karst Rocky Desertification Ecosystem of Southwest China

چکیده
Karst rocky desertification is a common phenomenon in terrestrial ecosystems, and the deterioration of soil quality has serious side effect on aboveground vegetation underground environmental factors. To clarify variety different grades typical karst areas southwest China, four was calculated by single model (SQI: index), two screening processes (TDS: total dataset MDS: minimum dataset) three scoring methods (SSF: standard function, SL: linear function SNL: nonlinear function). The key results are as follows: Significant differences were found environment factors non-rocky (NRD), light (LRD) moderate (MRD) compared to intense (IRD) (p < 0.01). Except for potassium (TK), manganese (Mn) amylase, other showed U-shaped changes. In contrast, TK, Mn amylase increased first then decreased. Additionally, SQI based MDS SSF, SL SNL IRD (0.58) > NRD (0.48) LRD (0.45) MRD (0.43), (0.53) (0.42) (0.39) (0.36) (0.57) (0.47) (0.40), respectively. However, always trend TDS. Overall, although area scarce, edaphic properties, enzyme activities not poor IRD. Furthermore, we that more suitable evaluation (R2 = 0.63, p 0.001 coefficient variation 30.69%). This research helps properties during succession provides guidelines sustainable management China.

Soil Bacterial Community Structure and Co-occurrence Pattern during Vegetation Restoration in Karst Rocky Desertification Area
Vegetation restoration has been widely used in karst rocky desertification (KRD) areas of southwestern China, but the response of microbial community to revegetation has not been well characterized. We investigated the diversity, structure, and co-occurrence patterns of bacterial communities in soils of five vegetation types (grassland, shrubbery, secondary forest, pure plantation and mixed pla...

Karst rocky desertification is a special kind of land desertification developed under violent human impacts on the vulnerable ecogeo-environment in karst ecosystem. The process of karst rocky desertification results in simultaneous and complex variations of many interrelated soil, rock and vegetation biophysical parameters, rendering it difficult to develop simple and robust remote sensing mapp...

The Grain to Green Program (GTGP) and eco-environmental emigration have been employed to alleviate poverty and control rocky desertification in the Southwest China Karst region. Carbon sequestration and oxygen production (CSOP) is used to indicate major ecological changes, because they involve complex processes of material circulation and energy flow. Using remote sensing images and weather rec...
متن کاملA Brief Analysis of Biological Soil Crust in the Management of Rocky Desertification
Karst rocky desertification is a geo-ecological problem in Southwest China because of nature and man-made factors, which restricts the development of local economic and social. Soil and water erosion is one of the most harmful form of rocky desertification, but the management methods still keep in the exploratory stage. Biological soil crust is the organic complexes of biotic components includi...
